The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
Topics include the teaching role and responsibilities in education and training, ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education and training, inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training and ways to create an inclusive teaching and learning environment.
This Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training is designed to prepare trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts. It requires observation and assessment of practice and the range of optional units available provide opportunities to contextualise the qualification for different learning environments.
Topics include understanding roles and responsibilities, planning to meet the needs of learners, delivering, assessing learners and using resources for education and training.
This Level 3 Award in Delivering Conflict Management is aimed at individuals who wish to deliver scenario-based conflict management training. It is suitable for delivery across a wide range of sectors and is of particular benefit to those delivering training in a customer-facing role. It also meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for those delivering the licence to practice qualifications which include scenario-based conflict management training.
Topics include how communication can be used to solve problems and reduce the likelihood of conflict, factors that influence human responses in conflict situations, how to reduce risks and good practice to follow after conflict situations.
